Must have a high level of competency in all areas of radio engineering to include audio processing, RF, and station automation (Wide Orbit preferred but not required).  In addition to the Engineering duties the candidate will also maintain the IT infrastructure in the Cape Girardeau, MO market and server as IT support for the River Radio station cluster in Carterville, IL and Poplar Bluff, MO.

DUTIES-
Duties include scheduling and performing regular equipment maintenance, equipment installations and capital projects, planning and managing budgets and implementing FCC compliance standards to ensure compliance, Knowledge of FCC Rules and regulations. Maintain AM directional antenna system. Monitor, evaluate, manage and provide the hands-on technical expertise to ensure maximum operating efficiency in supporting the strategic initiatives of the radio stations. Manage the building facility functions. Maintain records and studio documentation.  Serve as first point of contact for staff seeking IT technical assistance over the phone or email.  Install, configure, administer and trouble shoot all in-house related hardware and software.  Perform trouble shooting, remotely or in person, of computer hardware and software through diagnostic techniques.  Perform routine support, maintenance and testing for proper upkeep of IT network infrastructure; document and report network failures and conflicts and contact ISP as needed.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE-
Minimum of (5) years broadcast engineering experience. Management experience is a plus.
Two year college level or technical school electronics training OR BS in electronics or related broadcast field OR FCC General Class License.  Two years of IT help desk or support experience.  Experience with Windows operating systems and Windows Server.  Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Audition 2020) and IT networking and switches.
