A knowledge of FCC rules and regulations is needed. Will consider candidates for either a station manager's or general manager's position based upon qualifications and experience.  There will be only one position filled which will be either the general manager or a station manager.  The successful candidate would work closely with the station owners who are active in the business.  Our small market stations are located in the counties of Montgomery and Macoupin County, Illinois. Our area offers small town and rural lifestyle options within an hours drive of St. Louis and Springfield, Illinois.  Station management is stable with the owners actively working in the stations.  WSMI AM was built in 1950 and has been owned and operated by the Talley family for 70 years.  WSMI-FM was built in 1960 and owned and operated by the Talley family for 60 years.  WSMI’s call letters were chosen for We Serve Mid-Illinois, a mission that we continue today.  Applicants who also have sales management experience would be welcomed.  Talley Broadcasting Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
